Title: PR and New Media Officer

Responsibilities

Public Relations Responsibilities

•   Research, Create and deliver press releases based on the company's achievements, new products, client news, activities findings and employee achievements
•   Maintain robust relationships with influencers
•   Distribute releases to the full range of media outlets including national and international TV, radio, internet and print and proactively seek media opportunities that support the organisation's goals and campaign objectives
•   Liaising with and answering enquities from media, individuals and other organisations, often via telephone and email.
•   Collating and analysing media coverage
•   Identify and develop opportunities and PR connections for the business to be used as a resources for public relations (print, online, TV, radio, speaking, consulting, model, viral)

Social and New Media Responsibilities

•   Create a social media strategy that collaborates with marketing, PR and advertising campaigns
•   Create / use timely and engaging content optimized for different platforms and intended audience
•   Research top influencers, competitors, and trends in the industry both online and offline
•   Tap into opportunities for the company to ride on in terms of word-of-month and viral publicity

Qualification Required & Experience

The candidate must meet the following criteria

•   Must be Graduate and relevant experience in a related field is a must
•   Outstanding presentation, written and verbal communication skills
•   High level of computer literacy (Microsoft Office Suite, Internet, Gmail)
•   Excellent interpersonal, diplomacy skills (people skills), ability to interact with all personnel levels and business functions
