JOB PURPOSE
To provide strategic leadership, technical and administrative direction for the achievement of the Trust Fund

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

•   Provides strategic leadership and directions for management and administration of the Trust Fund.
•   Establishes an effective management team and ensuring adequate staffing in departments
•   Leads a team of professionals and supports staff to accomplish the mission and vision of the organization and targets set by the Board of Trustees
•   Acts as technical adviser to the Board on all aspects of the Trust Fund's activities including internal and external issues that affect the Fund
•   Ensures efficient financial management of the Trust Fund
•   Ensures the regular preparations and submissions of relevant reports to the Board of Trustees
•   Initiates and interprets administrative policies, procedures and regulations that govern the Trust Fund
•   Functions as Secretary to the Board of Trustees

Qualification Required and Experience

•   A minimum of a master's degree in Social Sciences, preferably in Business Adminstration or Economics from an accredited tertiary institution

•   Strong leadership  net-working, monitoring and management skills
•   Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
•   A good team player
•   Ability to identify and source for funds
•   Negotiating, lobbying and conflict resolution skills
•   Capacity to inspire and motivate people
•   Adequate knowledge in finance, procurement, budgeting, auditing and labour regulations
•   Good computer skills
