Job Vacancy For Sales & Marketing Manager
Our client is an efficient leading provider of IT Services & Hardware Infrastructure solutions for medium and large scale private and public institutions. The company is seeking experienced Managers to join its team in the following position.
Position: Sales & Marketing Manager (ref-FSMM)
This position requires an experienced Sales & Marketing Executive to lead the company's sales and marketing strategy, in its growth in developing new products and services in the area of delivering cost-effective solutions to its clients in the private, corporate and public sectors
Responsibilities and Position Requirements
• Sales and Marketing: Overseeing the development of sales pipelines and actively identifying new business opportunities. Experience of defining and implementing effective IT sales strategies review and recommend changes to processes, procedures and systems to improve efficiency of department and overall company performance
1) Key responsibility will be to drive pipeline for sales amd develop new business opportunities
2) Develop sales and marketing strategies in conjunction with marketing agencies and the senior management
• Program Management: Overseeing the planning, scheduling and tracking of sales activities, ensuring good adherence to company's overall strategy. Report the board on sales KPI's and deliverables
• People Management: Hold regular meetings to review performance and set/review KPI's. Performance management and development of the sales team. Actively encourage amd manage innovation where it is seen to provide benefit to the business / morale / working practices. Ensuring that exceptional work is recognized and rewarded. Promote, embrace and instil the company's values
• Change Management: Proven track record of delivering change management within an organisation and of handling issues that arise from this
• Relationship Management: The role will involve direct communication with prospects clients and stakeholders at all levels and therefore requires exceptional ability to build and manage these relationships and to communication effectively utilizing all mediums. In addition, this will involve developing and improving strong team bonds within the sales team and other departments
• Company Knowledge: Rapid assimilation and understanding of the company, our products and services, and their practical applications in order to market our solutions effectively
Qualification Required & Experience
• The candidate must possess a good degree(s) in a sales and/or marketing discipline. A postgraduate degree in sales / marketing would be a distinct advantage
• The ideal candidate will have 8+ yrs sales and marketing experience from an IT background
• He/She will possess strong networks of contacts in the target market sectors
• Demonstrate experience in effective team management and leadership skills in required
• Ability to quickly qualify in (and out) sales opportunities, managing a good sales win rate
• Demonstrable evidence of managing sales teams against their sales plans and annual objectives
• Good business acumen and business knowledge (balancing priorities and cost)
• Experience in financial control and budget management. Understanding of P&L is essential
• Ability to work autonomously, yet be able to seek support when needed
• Demonstrable expertise and experience in managing CRM systems and related internal systems to faclitate accurate sales forecasting
• Experience in selling to senior officials and companies within the financial services sector would be a distinct advantage
• Excellent communication skills - oral and written
