A reputable non-banking financial institution seeks to recruit a competent individual for the position of Senior Manager of Sales and Marketing

Job Role

•   Direct the Sales Department to achieve the objectives established in the Company's strategic plan
•   Manage the performance of Sales Managers through regular feedback, coaching, motivation and support, promotion of teamwork, training and performance appraisals
•   Set individual and collective sales targets for the sales team
•   Develop and monitor the budget of the sales department to ensure the efficacy of sales expenditure
•   Develop marketing strategies and work closely with operations on monitoring and evaluating the implementation of those strategies
•   Accomplish marketing and sales objectives by planning, developing, implementing, evaluating, advertising and business promotional activities and programs
•   Maintain, promote and maximize strategic relationships with customers
•   Maintain close liaison with all departments

Qualification Required & Experience

The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications and competencies:

•   A university degree in business administration, marketing, communications, public relations or other related fields. An MBA (Marketing) will be an advantage
•   Minimum of eight (8) years relevant post qualification experience in a financial institution with at least 4 years in sales management
•   Demonstrated skill leading a team of sales professionals
•   Providing a clear strategic plan and clear direction to direct reports and other
•   Ability to negotiate contracts with the best possible terms for the company and maintain positive relationships with all third parties
•   Ability to manage multiple task in a fast paced environment
•   Ability to identify problems quickly and develop and enact effective solutions
