The South African High Commission is looking for a competent and dynamic person to fill the position of Marketing Officer whose responsibilities will among others include the following:

Responsibilities:

•   Conduct economic research and analysis; and gather market intelligence.
•   Promote trade and facilitate investment between South Africa and Ghana.
•   Coordinate trade and business missions.
•   Establish linkages between importers and exporters from both countries
•   Compile and submit regular progress reports on projects.
•   Respond to trade and investment enquiries.
•   Assist in developing a business plan for the economic office.

Qualification Required & Experience

•   A tertiary qualification in Marketing/Economics/Business Administration/ International Relations.
•   Sound knowledge of the Ghanaian economy.
•   Fair knowledge and understanding of the South African economy
•   Ability to work under pressure and within a team
•   The ability to interact at a high-level and build networks.
•   Must be results-driven

Remuneration

•   The South African High Commission offers a remuneration package that will be determined according to the candidate’s qualifications and experience.
•   The successful candidate will be subject to a one year probation period and obtaining the appropriate security clearance.
