Job Vacancy For IT Specialist At Swifta Systems and Services International



The IT Support Specialist is a very delicate role that is focused on providing Google Apps Training, Integrations to Businesses and supporting the information technology initiatives at Swifta Systems International Ltd.

The ideal candidate should be highly motivated and should have practical experience working with Microsoft Exchange/Mdaemon/Google Apps/Windows Server/UNIX, etc. Experience on migrating from Microsoft Exchange to other mail servers will be highly preferred.

Job Summary

Training and Support

•   Maintenance and upkeep of all student and staff computers
•   Training students and staff on the use of available software
•   Act as key technical support contact for corporations as well as universities and government clients.
•   Deliver technical solutions through one-to-one communication over email and phone, effective prioritization, data analysis, and dedication to providing a world-class user experience to our partners.
•   Use Google Apps, specifically Google Apps for Business and Education
•   Identify and implement initiatives to drive customer satisfaction and increase efficiency across our head, torso, and tail customer segments.
•   Interact directly with customers on high-profile escalations to resolve issues.
•   Troubleshoot technical issues, escalate bug reports, proactively identify customer needs and work with Product Management and Engineering to improve the product.
•   Develop and implement processes and infrastructure to scale our customer-facing operations.
•   Keep up-to-date on current trends in IT and educational technology and recommend innovative solutions that will enhance the School’s services
•   Ensure availability of students information system and learning management systems for universities we are in charge
•   Participate in the technology strategy and plan of the company
•   Directly get involved in proposal writing to customers.
•   Expected to pass the Google Apps Deployment Specialist Certification within 100 days

End User Support

•   Desire to work with users to ensure the available tools are functioning
•   Quick response to our partners needs and issues
•   Willingness to spend extra time helping clients/partners understand the best use for available tools

Qualification Required & Experience

•   BA/BSc degree in IT and 2 years or more of relevant work experience.
•   Understanding of at least a few web (HTML, XML, HTTP), mail (SMTP, IMAP, POP, Exchange) and OS technologies (Windows/UNIX/Linux administration)
•   Experience in providing technical support or exceptional customer service
•   Fluency in English and any additional language will be preferable.
