Job Vacancy For Deposit Mobilisation Coordinator At UDF Micrifinance Limited



The Deposit Mobilization Coordinator has the primary responsibility for overseeing the company’s savings mobilization programs. Qualified candidates will build a portfolio of savings account clients, covering a specific geographic territory, by developing and executing a community partner-based outreach strategy. Key responsibilities include reaching or exceeding enrollment targets; account and case management, and ensuring high-quality customer service and case load quality indicators. The company’s deposit program focuses on financially excluded communities at the base of the pyramid.

Key Responsibilities

•   Develop and execute a community-based partnership strategy for outreach and financial education with international and local development partners, community trade associations, educational institutions and other non- profit community organizations to recruit, train and support new and enrolled savings program participants;
•   Oversee specific program budgets and ensuring the quality and quantity of client and partner services and ensuring timely and accurate payment based on operating and other relevant agreements;
•   Full cycle coordination of financial education classes managing attendance and follow-up;
•   Proactively recruit new participants for the Deposit Program;
•   Manage and conduct orientations at partner sites including client sites;
•   Interface with interested applicants and manage applicants and inquiries on a regular basis via phone, email, in person or through other appropriate communication channel;
•   Provide monthly case management follow up with clients in the program;
•   Provide advice to participants on withdrawals and the necessary process and procedures;
•   Provide referrals and advice for specific goals as well as other needed services;
•   Possess at least one area of technical competency, as necessary to provide direct, high quality and impactful consultation to clients, including:
•   Personal financial planning,
•   Accounting and credit coaching
•   Community development services

Qualification Required & Experience

The ideal candidate possesses the following qualities:

•   5+ years’ experience providing direct client service to a low-income population, preferably as a community finance counselor, cooperative or micro finance officer , case manager or coach;
•   Experience in public speaking, outreach and client recruitment, and/or working in partnership with other organizations to achieve a common goal;
•   Demonstrated ability to successfully promote and achieve successful adoption of social and financial services;
•   Demonstrated self-starter who goes beyond job description to make sure goals are achieved;
•   Excellent organization and attention to detail in a multi-tasking in fast environment;
•   Comfortable working with Excel, data bases and other IT systems;
•   Deep knowledge of resources and services and geographical conditions including socio-cultural dynamics of the various regions especially Greater Accra, Eastern, Volta, Central and Western region;
•   Academic or professional education in a relevant field such as psychology, social work, education, commerce, economics, business administration, among otherss
