Job Vacancy For Social Franchise Officer At Marie Stopes International (Takoradi)
MSI’s goal is to meet the needs of the underserved and dramatically improve access to the use of family planning and other reproductive health services. MSIG is part of Marie Stopes International’s Global Partnership, which operates in over 43 countries worldwide.
The Social Franchise (SF) Officer will assist (the Social Franchise Manager with BlueStar operations and administration. The SF Officer will be responsible for the department’s data and information collection, documentation and filing as well as data entering and analysis. The SF Officer will also take care of the organisation of trainings of franchisees and department events as and when planned. S/he will have jurisdiction over an identified number of franchisees as well as supervise Social Franchise Field Officers or as may be indicated in the ob framework.
Responsibilities include:
• Manages and keeps up to date a full membership list, contracts and payment of fees of all franchisees
• Leads the identification and recruitment of new franchisees
• Build relationships with franchisees by visiting them and ensuring contract compliance
• Assists Field Officers in identifying training needs based on field information and organise training accordingly
• Data entry
• Analyses, consolidates data and suggest innovative strategies and interventions
• Ensures all data, training and membership information is up to date, organised and filed (soft and hard copy) for quick and easy access
• Undertakes monthly data collection and supervision at franchised outlets when necessary
• Leads demand creation activities on the held
Qualification Required & Experience
• Bachelors Degree in Business Administration/Management, Statistics, Economics, Public/reproductive health, Marketing or any related field
• At least 4 years work experience
• Able to work under pressure and to strict deadlines
• Outstanding organisational and record keeping skills
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent IT and date entry skills
• Be prochoice
