Job Vacancy For Human Resources Network Project Manager At Nursing and Midwifery Council of Ghana



The Human Resources Network Project Manager (HR-NetPM) will establish and promote a professional network for human resource practitioners in the Public Service and provide secretariat and logistical support for network meetings in 2014.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

•   Establish, maintain and promote the HR-Net.
•   Develop and implement an HR-Net communications plan that inspires participation and commitment to the HR-Net’s success.
•   Strengthens the network of HR professionals in the public services of Ghana, and facilitate the sharing of information across the network.
•   Draft the structure, terms of reference and 2014 work plan for the HR-Net.
•   Plan and deliver the initial HR-Net meeting to be hosted by the PSC.
•   Provide administrative and secretarial services for the meetings of PSC, APSC and HR-Net Leaders in 2014.
•   Administer HR-Net meetings.
•   Manage the HR-Net project budget to a high standard of transparent accountability within the existing PSC framework.
•   Contribute to the development of the HR-Net after the initial period of Australian funding.
•   Maintain a secretariat of the project and its resources (human, material and financial)

Qualification Required & Experience

•   A bachelors degree in Social Science, Business, Management, or related field from an accredited tertiary institution
•   Post-graduate diploma In Human Resource Management. Business, Communications, or a related field
•   A master’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business, Communications, or other relevant field will be an added advantage
•   A minimum of eight (8) years relevant professional experience in a reputable organisation with good working knowledge of the Public Service, and experience in research, analysis and policy development
•   Professional or community-based experience in handling group communications and facilitating group activities and deliberations
•   Experience in Project Management and ability to deliver projects on time
•   Conversant with current issues and trends in human resource management policies and practices, particularly, in the Public Service.

•   Diplomatic, sensitive to group dynamics, and ability to maintain harmonious productive working relationships with large groups
•   Very well organised, reliable, punctual and conscious of deadlines
