Job Vacancy For Managing Director
Our client in the financial services sector wants to recruit a Managing Director.
Job Summary
. Have complete responsibility for coordinating operational aspects of all departments through strategic planning as well as interpreting and implementing directives and objectives of the Board of Directors in accordance with company policies and best management practices.
. Effectively manage the Company as a business unit to targeted profitability while satisfying customer needs.
. Ensure Company's mission, products and services are consistently presented in a strong, positive image to relevant stakeholders.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Leadership And Coordination:
. Give direction and leadership toward the achievement of the organization's philosophy, mission, strategy and its annual goals and objectives.
. Plan, organize, control and manage the company resources.
. Financial reporting and advising the Board members, interfacing between Board and staff.
. Ensure internal control measures are properly followed.
. Prepare monthly profitability reports.
Sales And Marketing:
. Identify business opportunities that align with the strategy of the company.
. Oversee brand visibility strategies.
. Negotiation of corporate business deals.
. Analysis of competitor activity.
Finance And Operations:
. Financial, Tax, Risk and facilities Management
. Liaison with Bankers, auditors, suppliers and customers.
. Management of human resources with the HR, ensuring conformity with labor laws and effective people development.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
. Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in a business related field with at least ten years relevant work experience, five of which should be in a senior managerial role.
. A Master's Degree in a business related field of study.
. Experience in the banking sector.
Competencies And Skills
. A keen interest and knowledge in finance, accounting, financial analysis and reporting.
. High sense of integrity.
. Adept at Microsoft Office suite.
. Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills.
. Ability to lead and motivate a team.
. Result driven and deadline conscious.
. Excellent organization and planning ability.
. Strong negotiating capabilities.
. Ability to handle conflicts of vary nature and complexity.
