Job Vacancy For Banking Operations Manager At First National Savings and Loans Co. Ltd
As a result of expansion and transformation, with the goal of becoming the "People's Bank" First National Savings and Loans Co. Ltd is looking for dynamic experienced and dedicated individuals to fill the position of Banking Operations Manager
This position is responsible to lead and supervise the banking operational functions and services including area and branch management, products and business management, customer service and deposit mobilization ensuring all transactions run smoothly.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
• Providing advice on all operational issues to the board
• Responsible for delivering budgeted results of Branches
• Policies the system in place and monitors the implementation of the company's manuals
• Co-ordinates all the activities of the branches and handles all operational issues including computerization, change management and balancing of books
• Prepares monthly and other periodic operational reports for the General Manager
• Liaises with the Financial Controller to ensure timely preparations of annual budget, quarterly budget review, forecasts and business plans
• Responsible for strengthening the company's customer relationship base
• Develops business relationships with potential customers as well as existing customers with the view to linking the company to our unique customers
• Analysis the business environment and makes recommendations on the development of new products and enhances existing products to grow the company's customer base and outreach
Qualification Required & Experience
• A Bachelor's degree from a reputable university or college
• Master's degree would be an advantage
• At least 10 years or more relevant experience in banking/lending or similar industry
• Knowledge of the microfinance and/or banking industry and related statutory banking compliance regulations, banking laws, etc etc
• Strong managerial, business development and analytical skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Good interpersonal and strong team building skills and experience
• Strong leadership qualities with a positive "can do" mentality
• Must be a pro-active and results oriented individual
• Must be computer literate with skills in Microsoft office, Word, Excel
