Job Vacancy For Finance Officer



Department: Finance
Reports Directly: Finance Manager

Duties & Responsibilities:

•   To maintain approved accounting system for the company, updating it whenever necessary.
•   To apply and control financial procedures and forms, ensuring that each transaction and payment has the necessary approval and justification.
•   To ensure that all transactions conform to the Financial Policy and Procedures of the company.
•   To prepare for the attention of supervisor daily, weekly and monthly financial reports applicable to scope of work.
•   To prepare for endorsement by the supervisor, monthly payroll details.
•   To keep and manage petty cash in line with company policy.
•   Responsible for asset management in the company
•   To liaise with external contacts to ensure effective operations of Finance, i.e. Auditors, statutory bodies, partner organizations etc.
•   To ensure proper filing of all documents.
•   To participate and contribute knowledge and experience to build team capacity.

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Degree in Administration (Major in Accounting) from a recognized University AND/ OR professional qualification in Accounting from either CA (Gh) or ACCA.
•   A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in Finance management in a related environment.
•   Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel & PowerPoint mandatory)

•   Ability to work under pressure
•   Excellent communication and inter-personal skills.
•   Must be creative and resourceful with excellent technical and superior analytical skills to combine different types of information intelligently to find patterns and issues, and then articulate these findings in a simple and transparent manner.
