B&P Group Limited, an emerging-market leader in the industries of heavy-duty equipment and trucks, workshop and genuine spare parts, contract mining and customs bonded warehouse facilities is seeking for qualified individuals to fill existing vacancies as: Sales Consultants
Duties & Responsibilities:
Ensure all functions mentioned below are carried out in an efficient and effective manner whilst providing maximum sales support to the institution.
• Find out prospective customers/clients and new target segment and penetrate sales in that area
• Retain existing ones
• Convert leads to sales through good communication, follow-ups and positive attitude
• Keep customer service and satisfaction at the top of his/her agenda
• Keep up to date with product knowledge and find out how to market products for different segments`
• Assist the customer in selecting products and services
• Answer customers queries about products and services and/or the stores in general
• Promote the products and services rendered by B&P
• Keep a check of inventories
• Prepare weekly and monthly sales report and ensure proper filing of reports
• Ensure all sales are properly contracted and completed and collection is made of all sales on the due date
• Ensure required daily levels of activity (face offs, telephone contacts etc) including hindrances and reports from customers
• Provides market intelligence by monitoring the situation of the market; and information on competitor activity
Qualification Required & Experience
Qualification:
• A minimum of a Diploma or 1st Degree in any discipline from a recognized polytechnic or university
• A minimum of 2-3 years of progressively responsible experience in the area/field of sales
• Computer Knowledge (Microsoft Office Suite & E-mail/Internet Usage)

• Ability to communicate effectively (empathetic listener but persuasive speaker)

• Ability to handle conflict, confrontation, disagreement and delicate interpersonal situation in such a manner as to solve the problem and sustain positive relationships.
Managerial:
• Knowledge of decision-making and problem solving process
• Ability to make effective presentations
Technical:
• Ability to prepare market intelligence report
• Ability to undertake sales forecasting
