Job Purpose: To provide quality Healthcare to Clients

Job Description

The successful candidate would be required to:-

•   Undertake daily consultations
•   Perform minor surgical procedures
•   Manage seriously ill patients at the recovery ward before discharge or referral to a Tertiary Hospital
•   Conduct medical examinations
•   Carry out Health Related Research work
•   Organise continuing professional development courses for medical staff and health education for staff generally
•   Understake other assignments that would be assigned by the Head of Medical Department.

Other Requirements

Applicant:

•   Must have sound theoretical and practical medical knowledge
•   Must be conversant with the rules and laws that govern the practice of Medicine in Ghana
•   Must be able to work under pressure
•   Must be able to work without supervision
•   Must be computer literate
•   Should have research/report writing skills

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Applicant should have MBChB, MBBS or any relevant qualification from a recognised educational institution.
•   A post graduate qualification in Family Medicine (Ghana College or West Africa College) would be an advantage
•   Applicant should be registered with the Medical and Dental Council

Working Experience:

•   Between five (5) to ten (10) years post qualification (MBCHB)
•   Between three (3) to five (5) years post qualification (FGCP, FWCP)

Age: Not more than 45 years
