A company with business activities in Agro-processing and plantations, refine redible oils, production of grains and pulses, production and distribution of speciality fats and oleo-chemicals in West, Central and East Africa wish to invite application for internal auditors for its business.

Job Title: Internal Auditor

Responsibilities

Responsible for the audits of different business units in our Group of Companies activities in Africa and report to the Head of Group Internal Audit

Plan and conduct process-oriented financial and operational audits. Assess financial, operational, external and other risks and review the adequacy of internal controls, in an integrated computerised environment, to address these risks for processes and system in the Group. Present findings and recommendations to management and work with business line management to monitor outstanding audit findings & prepare status reports

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Degree in Accountancy, Business, Finance or Professional Qualification in Accountancy
•   1 to 3 years audit experiences would be preferred
•   Possess strong interpersonal, communication and analytical skills, positive proactive personality and be able to work independently with minimum supervision
•   Proficient in both written and spoken English (French or other local languages would be an added advantage)
•   Good knowledge of accounting principles and practices, management principles, business practices and controls, corporate governce, risk assessment methodologies and IIA standards
•   Audit experience in an integrated computerised environment be preferred
•   IT knowledge and experience with good analysis skill using computer like Excel, Word, etc.
•   Applicants will be based in Tema and be willing to travel
