UNDP in Ghana is seeking to recruit a qualified and suitable Ghanaian National for the following position: COMMUNICATIONS ANALYST

Under the overall guidance and supervision of the Country Director, the Communications Analyst will develop, manage and implement the Communications Strategy and Annual Work Plan to deliver high quality outputs in communicating UNDP's development results. This is with a view to influencing the development agenda, to promote public and media outreach and to mobilize political and financial support for UNDP.

Summary of Key Functions:

•   Ensures implementation of communication strategies and outreach.
•   Support to the maintenance of the UNDP web site, intranet, web-based knowledge management system.
•   Support the business development.
•   Facilitation of knowledge building and management

Competencies:

•   Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
•   Excellent writing skills and proven ability to produce quality results.
•   Good presentation skills.
•   Excellent communication, planning and organizational skills.
•   Ability to share knowledge across the organization and build a culture of knowledgesharing and learning

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Master's degree in communication or related field.
•   Relevant experience at a national or international level in corporate communications, and advocacy programmes.
•   Excellent command of English language (written and spoken), working knowledge of French will be an added advantage.
