Job Summary

The role of Clinical Quality Assurance Manager is to ensure high quality clinical standards among Marie Stopes International Ghana's three service delivery channels and to supervise the work of the Quality Assurance Officers.

Responsibilities include:

•   Responsible for quality technical assistance in MSl's core services throughout MSIG
•   Perform quality needs assessment at all MSIG clinical service delivery sites
•   Observe and collate clinical assurance/quality issues and submit a report to the Director for action
•   Conduct regular internal Quality Technical Assistance visits to all MSIG clinical services delivery points to ensure that high quality clinical standards are consistently met.
•   Facilitate external Quality Technical Assistance visits and accompany teams to the field.
•   Coordinate the writing of a comprehensive monthly clinical quality assurance report
•   Coordinate and Supervise the work of the Quality Assurance Officers

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Bachelors Degree in Nursing, Midwifery, Medicine, or Public Health
•   Evidence of good standing with a recognized clinical related professional body
•   Very experienced senior nurses, midwives or Doctors with experience in sexual and reproductive health
•   At least 6-7 years post-graduation experience
•   A minimum of 3 years experience in a managerial / supervisory / administrative position
•   Articulate and analytical with attention to detail
•   Knowledge of health delivery systems in Ghana
