A reputable group of companies is seeking to recruit a dynamic, analytical, experienced and result-oriented person with good leadership qualities and enthusiasm to fill the position of the Head of Finance & Strategy who will report to the General Manager.

Job Purpose

The Finance Department has a primary responsibility to protect the assets of the company through the maintenance and development of a systematic process for financial control and review.

Principal Responsibilities

•   Design and implement the necessary controls to protect the organisation's assets and prevent any potential areas of fraud
•   Ensure, from the framework outlined by-senior Management, that appropriate financial policies are implemented, documented and become part of the core work of the finance department and organisation
•   Prepare detailed annaul, monthly, and weekly operational budget timetable and forecasts to enable the business to meet agreed deadlines
•   Prepare and deliver the operational audit plan and overall audit timetable
•   Manage new and existing regulatory requirements where appropriate and incorporate them into the financial and management accounts.
•   Ensure the robustness of all finance systems taking into account any required enhancements and upgrades required, and any other accounting, financing and management.

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Degree / HND, BSc Account / BBA Account / Finance
•   Second Degree, MBA Account / MBA Finance will be a added advantage
•   Qualified or part qualified ACCA, CIMA or ICA Accountant, including relevant post qualification experience
•   Proficiency in financial accounting & reporting, including external statutory reporting and audit
•   Knowledge of Tally
