Description Of Job

Responsibilities:

•  Designing, planning and supervision of the construction of rural water projects to ensure quality and completion within budget and planned schedules
•  Overseeing the efficient repair and maintenance of all existing and new sites and day to day operations at the sites
•  Managing of all civil and electrical information on the organization's treatment plans and sites
•  Ensuring the maintenance of quality control and safety standards at all sites
•  Liaising with Head Office on all engineering related issues
•  Representing the organization on all on all engineering and construction related issues

Position will be based in Accra, with travels to Volta, Western and Eastern Regions with rural parts of Greater Accra Region. Infrequent travels to other parts of the country

Qualification Required & Experience

Qualifications and Other Required Skills:

•  Minimum of BSc Civil/Electrical Engineering or equivalent
•  Masters' Degree is a plus
•  3-5 years post qualification experience
•  Highly Computer literate, including proficiencies in computer-aided designs
•  Ability to plan and design small rural civil engineering projects
•  Field experience working with contractors is a plus
•  Experience in the water sector a plus, but not necessary
