Job Summary

Reporting to the Managing Director, this individual will be responsible for the planning, execution and monitoring of the waste water treatment process and management of maintenance activities of the Plant. The selected candidate will:

•   Develop and maintain standards, plans, strategies, policies and procedures in respect of the waste water treatment process so as to ensure achievement of the organization’s goals.
•   Supervise and monitor the process of treatment of received waste and processing of same.
•   Oversee the maintenance of the  facilities and equipment ensuring that such assets are in a pristine state
•   Determine, document and update the cost of treatment of waste
•   Oversee the record of all products of the Plant

Qualification Required & Experience

The preferred candidate will have

•   A university degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental science, Sanitary Engineering  or Biochemistry or a related field with a minimum of ten years relevant experience, four of which should have been in a supervisory position in a treatment or processing facility. A post graduate degree in Sanitary Engineering or related field will be an advantage.
•   Experience in the supervision of plant maintenance activities will also be an asset.
