Job Summary

Yara Ghana is looking for a Tropical Crop Segment Manager (Cocoa, Oil Palm, Rubber and Pineapple) to join our team to enhance sale of Yara's solution purposely for tropical crops, being part of the team that aims to execute on a commercial strategy for the business in Southern Ghana. The candidate will have a sales team to manage. The position will be based in our Accra office and will report to the Commercial Director.

Role & Responsibilities:

•   Reach the sales objectives,following up the business plan and managing the sales team in the South.
•   Develop the marketing activities and brand management.
•   Maintain and develop existing and new customers through planned individual account support.
•   Monitor and report on activities of distributors and retailers and provide relevant information to the Commercial Director.
•   Carry out market research, improving the computerized customer and prospect database.
•   Be responsible for all follow ups on agronomical trials and demonstrations being carried out in the region.
•   Creating demand through training programs for stakeholders, distributors, retailers and end users to develop relevant knowledge and skills on a regular basis.

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Graduate degree in Agriculture or its equivalent
•   Excellent managerial and commercial skills
•   Minimum 3 years multinational working experience
•   Excellent communication and listening skills; good interpersonal relationship skills
•   Ability to work independently and within teams
•   Excellent computer skills and project management capabilities
