Chemonics International, a U.S. based international development consulting firm, seeks experienced professionals for an anticipated five-year, $7-$10 million USAID-funded education program in Ghana to increase public action to improve reading outcomes among students in KG-P3. This program will increase awareness of the Government of Ghana’s approach to improving reading, support the implementation of activities to increase reading levels, and develop and implement a multi-pronged communications campaign supporting these goals. We are looking for individuals who have a passion for making a difference in the lives of people all around the world.
Key Positions: Communications Specialist
Job Summary
• Will determine most effective ways to spread awareness of Government of Ghana’s literacy improvement programs.
• Will develop communications campaigns to promote Government of Ghana and USAID activities focused on increasing reading levels.
Qualification Required & Experience
• At least 5 years previous experience in one or more of the technical areas above.
• Relevant university degree, advanced degrees preferred.
• Experience with USAID or other donor-funded programs preferred.
• Excellent oral and written English.
