Job Vacancy For Customer Service Officers
A reputable financial company needs the services of qualified personnel for the following position:- Customer Service Officer
Purpose of the Job:
• Answer basic customer inquiries via telephone regarding interest rates, service charges and account histories while complying with disclosure requirements, regulations and consumer privacy polices
• You are also to ensure quality assurance in the branch in terms of service and appearance
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
• Assist customers with routine account related requests
1) Fund transfer
2) Inquiries about bank deposit products and service charges
3) Inquiries about ATM and Debit Card usage and limits
4) Inquiries about checking and savings accounts transactions
5) Inquiries about funds availability
6) Check verification requests by third parties
• Research and resolve customer problems, acting as the customer liaison between other company departments when necessary
• Cross-sell company products and services based on customer needs, in accordance with the company's program standards
• Perform customer requested research, including printing statement and cheque copies
• Contact customer to notify booklets/id cards/ATM cards are ready for pick up at the branch
• Act as backup to the safe / vault in the adsence of the operations officer
• Assist the operations Officer by verifying the accuracy of clients documents and information
• Ensure the daily submission of the CSO Report by close of day
• Undertake other lawful duties as may be assigned by immediate manager
Qualification Required & Experience
• Minimum of Diploma in Business Studies (DBS) or HND in Accounting or Marketing
• Must have at least one year experience in a similar role
• Must be computer literate
• Must be willing to work for long ours
