A leading pharmaceutical company is currently looking for an innovative, results oriented and self-motivated person to join our team as INTERNAL AUDITOR

JOB PURPOSE

To monitor and evaluate risks management, the business is being governed well and internal processes are working, advising management on how to improve systems and processes. Overall protection of assets by ensuring compliance with internal control

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

•   Ensures compliance with established internal control procedures by examining records, reports, operating practices, and documentation.
•   Verifies assets and liabilities by comparing items to documentation. Completes audit work papers by documenting audit tests and findings.
•   Maintains internal control systems by updating audit programs and questionnaires; recommending new policies and procedures.
•   Complies with security legal requirements by studying existing and new security legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
•   Prepares special audit and control reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing operating information and trends.
•   Perform and control the full audit cycle including risk management and control management over operations’ effectiveness, financial reliability and compliance with all applicable directives and regulations
•   Determine internal audit scope and develop annual plans
•   Obtain, analyze and evaluate accounting documentation, previous reports, data, flowcharts etc
•   Act as an objective source of independent advice to ensure validity, legality and goal achievement
•   Identify loopholes and recommend risk aversion measures and cost savings

Qualification Required & Experience

•   BS degree in Accounting or Finance
•   ACCA
•   3+ years of experience as Internal Auditor

COMPETENCIES

•   Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases
•   Proven knowledge of auditing standards and procedures, laws, rules and regulations
•   High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
•   Sound independent judgment
