A leading agro-based industry in Ghana is seeking for an immediate employment the position of an OUTGROWER COLLECTION OFFICER

Primary Objective
Ensure efficient collection of Fresh Fruit Bunches from the Oil Palm Outgrower (OG) scheme of the company.

Key Responsibilities

•   Monitor and review fleet movements via GPS tracking system
•   Serve as the liaison between the Outgrower manager and the farmers for fruits collection
•   Ensure effective FFB collection within the OG catchment area through the use of GPS based road mapping
•   Ensure constant communication with call centre clerk to know when to move tractors for the collection of fruits
•   Establish daily forecasts/programmes according to received calls and harvesting schedules received by Zonal Officers/OG team Ensure effective communication and close cooperation with clerks, Zonal Officers, General Services Department and Weighbridge personnel
•   Establish weekly/ monthly FFB and fleet reports and submitted to the OG Manager
•   Ensure adherence to all operational standards

Reports to:  Outgrower Manager
Duty Station: Kwae near Kade in the Eastern Region

Qualification Required & Experience

•   BSc. in Marketing/ Purchasing and Supply
•   Knowledge in Fleet Management will be an added advantage
•   At least 3 years' experience in a similar field

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

•   Strong work ethics, excellent communication, organisational and time management skill Be a strong problem solver
•   Conversant with usage of GPS processing
•   Must have a keen eye for detail.
•   Good knowledge in the use of computer
•   Good knowledge in oral and written English
•   Ability to supervise and work with teams
•   Must be safety conscious
•   Ability to work in a high pressure environ¬ment
•   Good team leader, highly motivated and results oriented
•   Fluency in English/Twi
•   Flexible and self-motivated
