Our client, a three Star Hotel situated in Accra is currently looking to hire an Assistant Sales and Marketing Manager to support their operations.

ROLE PROFILE

Selected candidate will be responsible for determining appropriate sales strategies in all market segments towards maximizing the hotel revenues. Will also be responsible for a maximum of occupancy of conferences and banquettes in order to optimize general business opportunities

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

•   Manage and assist the sales team with guest enquiries, communication of rates, processing of reservations, and responding to internet and telephonic enquiries
•   Plan on-the-road sales activities for the team
•   Set goals and targets for the team including the annual budgets and ensure targeted levels of profit are achieved
•   Plan and implement promotional/marketing/PR activities
•   Ensure that all key insights are reported and developed through feedback and research
•   Create partnerships and alliances with operators to ensure maximum market share.
•   Develop new business and grow existing clients as well as come up with strategies and tactical campaigns.
•   Responsible for all corporate contracts
•   Rate setting with General Manager
•   Liaise with the General Manager to set up discount policies and management thereof
•   Assist Food & Beverage pricing, based on market research
•   Share market analysis between similar hotels in Accra, monthly
•   Corporate account management program
•   Weekly or monthly forecasting
•   Promotions Management with Food & Beverage
•   Implement systems to ensure effectiveness of campaigns/promotions
•   Communicate Weekly/Monthly forecasting to operations for planning
•   Meet Sales Calls Targets

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Degree/Master Degree in Sales and Marketing

EXPERIENCE

•   Over 5 years’ experience in similar industry
