Job Purpose:
The successful applicant should have the overall supervisory responsibility for the effective functioning of the entire bank.
Duties / Responsibilities
1. To provide leadership and guidance for the bank through co-ordination of activities of all the departments and agencies of the bank.
2. Responsible for the operational and financial administration of the bank.
3. Implement decisions and strategies of the board of Directors.
4. Head of the management staff, secretary and accountable to the board of directors.
5. Prepare and present relevant technical papers such as budget to the Board of Directors.
6. Ensure the bank's operations comply with relevant laws.
7. Establish and maintain linkages between the bank and the Bank of Ghana, ARB Apex Bank and other collaborators.
Minimum Education Level:
First Degree / CIB
A Scond Degree may be an added advantage
Job Qualification:
1. A minimum of first degree in a relevant discipline from a recognized University plus a minimum of 8 years work experience in the banking industry of which 5 years is in managerial position.
2. A relevant professional qualification plus 7 years post-qualification experience in the banking industry, 4 years of which should be managerial position.
3. Must be computer literate.
4. Candidate must have a drive initiative, business acumen and be result oriented.
5. Candidate must be a team player
6. Candidate must be able to work independently.
7. Experience in a rural banking environment will be very much preferred.
