Role Purpose
As the Mass Acquisition Manager for Tigo, you’ll shape the future direction of the company’s Mobile Mass Acquisition offerings, using thorough market insights to advice on ways to improve our products and services and ensure that our offerings and welcome packs are shaped around the Acquisition of the customer.
Key Responsibilities
You will drive and be the key owner of the following responsibilities:
Shape future direction of Tigo’s mass acquisition offers for Mobile customers
• Defining and sizing of the market potential within Acquisition space
• Using market and customer based insights to develop compelling offers and welcome packs to acquire customers and ensure that Tigo Ghana is the Mobile Network Operator of choice
• Responsible for the attainment of monthly Gross Adds and revenue contribution targets from this segment through acquisition driven propositions
• Interfacing with internal stakeholders to deliver against the roadmap and bring offerings to market
• Understand new subscriber behavior within their first 60 days on the network in order to develop and implement up sell and cross-sell strategies
Quality Gross Adds Acquisition Drive
• Define, develop and consistently revise a Subscriber Management Framework that measures the Quality of Gross Adds.
• Working closely with the Sales team to set Quality Gross Adds target for retailers, freelancers and retail shops.
• Drive usage and spend pattern of subscribers within their first 60 days on the network through cross sell and up sell activities
• Develop a model that predicts M-HVC subscribers on their first 60 days on the network and work closely with the Customer Value Management Team to retain them on the network
Qualification Required & Experience
• Masters/Equivalent degree in Marketing/Business/Engineering
• Essential role related knowledge, technical skills, qualifications and experience
• Substantial experience in consumer marketing, product or brand management or strategic planning
• Experience in the mobile services industry in emerging markets
• Experience in the FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) industry in emerging markets
• Experience in delivering marketing insights and leading strategy within a large, complex organization

• Strong communication skills
• Commercially-minded – comfortable with financial data and/or making business cases
• Strong commercial acumen
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams
