JOB PURPOSE

The role is responsible for the management of revenue and gross margin KPIs of the roaming business. The holder will be responsible for all engagements with roaming carriers and partners.

Understand MIC’s strategy and manage in accordance the campaigns and product promotions.

Key Responsibilities

•   Proactively develop and implement initiatives towards the achievement of Tigo’s roaming revenue and gross margin targets.
•   Grow inbound and outbound roaming traffic to achieve the desired share of market share.
•   Initiate activities towards the deployment of new roaming destinations and services by working with carriers.
•   Design and implement roaming products resulting in no customer complaints while availing of the program benefits.
•   Ensure effective management of roaming tariffs and correction of effective rates on a continuous basis.
•   Liaise with operations, billing and other relevant partners to ensure effective roaming testing and rates as per roaming agreements.
•   Actively take steps towards the effective implementation of all roaming agreements.
•   Design strategy to increase roaming footprint.
•   Support activities including interconnect and international voice towards the achievement of revenue and gross margin targets

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent in IT or Telecom field with Training in Project Management, Business Skills,
•   3 - 7 years of work Experience with ~ 3 years in Marketing
•   Three years of relevant experience in Telecom with Knowledge and experience in managing carriers and roaming a prerequisite.
•   Strong technical aptitude & IT savvy
