A rapidly growing manufacturing company located in Tema, comprising of kitchenware and roofing products subsidiaries, is looking for highly experienced and motivated people to Plan, Direct and Control the divisional activities.

Job Purpose

To provide technical and administrative leadership for the finance department of the company under the direction of the Chief Executive Officer

Essential Duties

•   Exercises oversight responsibility over the finance activities of the company.
•   Co-ordinates the preparation of financial reports, budgets and other financial forecasts.
•   Establish appropriate financial controls and procedures to guide operations of the finance and accounting function
•   Leads in negotiating with key supplies, banks and other stakeholders
•   Prepare and report to management all matters relating to financial administration of the company including tax advisory

Qualification Required & Experience

•   A Chartered Accountant with a minimum of six (6) years post hands-on experience ina manufacturing company, three(3) of which must be in a managerial position

Technical

•   Proficiency in the use of accounting software is a must (preferaly Tally software)
•   Must possess excellent financial modelling and analytical skills

Personality

•   Ability to relate effectively to people at all levels
•   Ability to articulate viewpoints and stick to them where necessary assertiveness
•   Snap decision-maker, but discerning and prudent.
•   Highly self-motivated, dynamic and brisk
•   Ability to work to meet timelines

Managerial

•   Ability to analyze and solve problems
•   Ability to plan and coordinate
•   Must have excellent people management skills
