Focos Orthopaedic Hospital requires Physio Assistant for immediate employment.

Purpose:

•   Contributes to the physical Therapists effectiveness by identifying patient care issues, providing information and commentary, recommending options and cause of actions, implementing physical therapy.

Functions:

•   Administers treatments involving application of such agents as light, heat, water and electricity
•   Teachers and motivates patients in non-manual exercises such as Osometrics and practical activities such as walking
•   Trains patients in the use of prosthetic and orthotic devices and recommending modifications
•   Instructs patients and their families on physical therapy procedures to be continued at home.

Qualification Required & Experience

Essential Requirements

•   Diploma in Physiotherapy
•   Minimum of two (2) years post rotation experience
