Job Summary

•   The position is accountable for the financial and risk management operations of the company
•   She/ he will be responsible for the entire function of financial operations including planning, business analysis, budgeting, costing, and financial reporting.

Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

•   Develop, direct, and coordinate and account for actual, forecast and the business plan processes.
•   Develop financial and management information, including profit and cost center financial framework, and internal control systems to help the management in cost control and decision making.
•   Liaise with banks, external auditors, managing long term & short term financing arrangements.
•   Develop and implement structures and methodology for completion of statutory and internal audit of the company.
•   Support the corporate planning group through financial analysis, risk & treasury management and analysis of cash flows.
•   Responsible for tax planning, statutory taxation, and external relations related to tax reporting.
•   Oversee Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Cash & Banking and Inventory.
•   Prepare, supervise and guide in the preparation of financial management reports, financial statements and ensure timely financial statutory compliances

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Relevant Bachelor’s Degree
•   Membership of an Accountancy body (CIMA, ACCA, ICA GH, etc) is a significant advantage.
•   5 - 7 years’ work experience in a similar position in an electrical
•   engineering company or industry
•   Must be honest, team player and strong organizational skills
•   Strong computer skills including knowledge of enterprise accounting software
