Job Summary:
• Co-ordinate the successful implementation and daily reporting/monitoring of the “Advancing Partners in Communities” (APC) Program
• Lead & manage reporting for APC Program
• Manage stakeholder expectations in meeting product targets and service delivery expectations
• Manage field operatives in meeting targets
Specific Duties & Responsibilities:
• Coordinate the implementation of “APC” Program
• Develop project workplan (including timelines and critical path schedule) for all deliverables across all partners and with donor (USAID mission) and John Snow International in Washington.
• Track project deliverables using appropriate tools across all partners and agencies.
• Manage total project budget tracking and consolidation.
• Sumbit expenditure reconciliation to JSI each month on time.
• Present bi-weekly reports defining project progress, problems and solutions to CD and relevant stakeholders.
• Coordinate and manage monthly and ad-hoc project staff meetings
Lead & manage reporting for APC Program
• Lead the regular reporting from DKT to USAID on the APC Program, including:
• Liquidity report (bi-annually)
• Annual plan (annually)
• Narrative report (annually)
• Financial reporting (annually)
• Develop comprehensive reports by compiling reports from DKT and the partner agencies into collective reports for USAID.
• Coordinate with Finance dept within DKT and distribution agencies to generate comprehensive sales and financial statement reporting.
• Cross-check sales and financial statements with all other reports to identify and solve any discrepancies.
• Manage project evaluations and assessment of results
Other Duties:
• Perform other duties related to the Youth Program as assigned by Country Director
• Assure confidentiality in handling business related issues

• Timely achievement of project deliverables
• Positive image level of DKT and Youth Program in the eyes of customers and partners
• Quality of relationships with partners, stakeholders, and staff
• Effective management of all meetings - including invites, agenda, note-taking and follow-ups
• On-time management of key project deliverables across partners
• On-time delivery of all reports to USAID
• Reports to CD not needing more than 1 round of feedback
• Positive feedback from USAID on quality and sufficiency of project execution, project management, and reporting
• Budget against expenditure
• Attendance and feedback of quarterly Advisory Committee meetings
• Attendance and feedback of annual Stakeholder events
Qualification Required & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• Sufficient experience in report writing, preferably in the nonprofit sector.
• Former experience developing and managing project workplans.
• Proven record of managing projects with a multifunctional team.
• Track record of successful budget management.
• Project Manager - must have extensive USAID experience managing projects at senior level. (Applicants with no USAID exposure will not be considered)
