Description Of Job

The Senior Researcher is responsible for oversight, and management of large scale research and consulting projects.

Qualification Required & Experience

The qualifications, skills and competencies include the following:

•  Master's or PhD from a recognised University in social science preferably in sociology, economics, development studies, and eduction with at least 5-7 years of research and/or consulting work experience
•  The Senior Researcher should have a demonstrated interest in the field of development and have a strong commitment to working on social/economic and educational development issues
•  Have both qualitative and quantitative research skills and programme development skills
•  Demonstrate ability to manage staff, facilitate training and lead teams of researchers
•  Demonstrate strong project management skills, excellent analytical, writing and editing skills
•  Experience in international development across Africa would be an added advantage
