Field Program Manager

Job Location: Kintampo

Job Summary

The Satisfy Field Program Manager will be responsible for all country level management and coordination of the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) funded SATISFY program in Ghana. He/she will be responsible for the leadership of the SATISFY in country team and achievement country level results as per the SATISFY memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed between World Vision Canada (WVC) and World Vision Ghana (WVC). He / She will work closely with the SATISFY WVC Program Manager and the SATISFY Regional Technical Specialist in the realization of these goals.

. University degree in Agriculture, Agricultural Economics or related fields. Master's degree preferred.
. 5 to 7 years field experience with NGO's in developing countries.
. Strong program management skills and experience managing large scale internationally funded grant projects.
. Proven leadership skills and experience in people management, and
. Skills and experience in external stakeholder engagement including donors, government and private sector and experience with coordination of multi-stakeholder forums and steering committees.
. Experience in monitoring and evaluation
. Experience providing food security technical support and ensuring program quality for large scale internationally funded grant projects.
. Experience in and ability to take systems approach to large scale projects including the integration of food security, economic development, natural resource management, nutrition, institutional capacity and other key cross cutting themes (gender, environment).
. Self starter and team player with high standards and solid command of technical issues.
. Strong interpersonal skills
. Strong English communication skills (oral and written) and experience in report writing
. Ability to work in and contribute to team building environment.
. Willingness to be innovative and flexible, while still ensuring achievement of program results.
