The Mental Health Authority is a new Agency under the Ministry of Health created by an Act of Parliament, Mental Health Act 846, 2012. The Authority's mandate is to establish an integrated, culturally appropriate quality and accessible mental health care of world class standard.

Job Description

Functions:

•   Shall collate data on mental health from public and private mental health services, from regional and district mental health coordinators.
•   Shall set up and ensure effective functioning of Mental Health Information System.
•   Shall attend meetings of the Division
•   Shall collate data on mental health data to the Director
•   Shall ensure continuous training of staff in ICT
•   Shall set up ICT system with Mental Health

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Shall have a postgraduate degree ip Computer Science
•   Be an ICT manager in the Health Sector environment
•   Must show adequate knowledge and skills in mental health information systems
