Job Title: Senior Auditor

Job Summary

•   Lead and supervise audit teams
•   Review and evaluate internal control systems and assess their effectiveness
•   Prepare audit strategies and programmes for audit assignments
•   Prepare audit observations
•   Maintain an up-to-date file of working papers for review
•   Prepare draft reports

Qualification Required & Experience

•   A member of the ICA(GH) or a professionally recognised accounting body And
•   A minimum of a relevant bachelor's degree from an accredited tertiary institution
•   A minimum of four(4) years post qualification with relevant working experience in accounting or auditing in a reputable organisation
•   A relevant master's degree would be an added advantage
•   National Service Certificate

Skills and Competencies

The job holder must possess the following:

•   Leadership, networking, monitoring and management skills
•   Presentation, negotiating, lobbying and conflict resolution skills
•   Qualitative and quantitative analytical skills
•   Communciation, presentation and interpersonal skills
•   Knowledge in auditing standards
•   Knowledge of public financial management systems
•   Knowledge in industrial and labour relations
•   Knowledge of relevant computer applications.
