Job Summary

•   To provide technical and operational leadership and direction for the achievement of the company objectives

Duties and responsibilities

•   Provide strategic leadership and guidance for the effective and efficient management of the garments industry.

Financial and Reporting

•   Run a profitable company
•   Prepare annual budget for the company
•   Prepare and review budgets and assist in the review of the company plans
•   Monitor the company's general operations, competitors, strategies, costs and other risk areas of operation and submit monthly reports to management for decision making

Staff and Resource Management

•   Set priorities, define assignments and motivate staff buy into company goals
•   Supervise departments, units and sections of the company to achieve stated objective
•   Recruitment of key company staff
•   Run a good company where staff are well motivated
•   Ensuring staff are well-trained and comply with company guidelines and standards

Business Competitiveness and Customer Care

•   Ensure the company develops and maintains competitiveness in the garments and clothing industry
•   Turns around the company and project the company image within three to six months
•   visit key clients and partners and ensure their needs are being met and developing further business. Ability to prepare bidding documents will be critical
•   Source new business
•   Maintain agreed performance levels for all clients

Requirements

•   Proven record in company management with 5-10 years experience
•   Good financial management and marketing skills
•   Good people management skills
•   Must be between 35 and 45 years of age
•   Must be self-motivated, have initiative and be able to work under pressure
•   A knowledge of the garments and clothing industry will be an advantage

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Management, Economics, Commerce or related field of study
