Job Vacancy For Director, Administration At Cape Coast Teaching Hospital
The Cape Coast Teaching Hospital is an agency of the Ministry of Health responsible for tertiary health care delivery, medical education and research.
Job Purpose:
Provide direction and advice in the efficient management of General Administration within the Cape Coast Teaching Hospital.
Functions
• Provide administrative support and advice to the chief Executive on issues relating to general administration.
• Lead in the development and dissemination of procedures and guidelines in general administration, transport, procurement, supply, equipment and estate.
• Contribute to the development of medium/Long term strategic plans for the CCTH
• Prepare annual reports and other reports on the Directorate.
• Lead in the needs assessment of transport procurement, supply and estate services.
• Undertake any other responsibility assigned by the CEO.
Duration of Contract
All the positions are for 4 years contract period subject to renewal upon satisfactory work and conduct.

Qualification Required & Experience
The Person must be a Senior Health Personnel and have the following:
• Postgraduate qualification in Health Management, Planning and Policy or related field (Master's or equivalent)
• Evidence of leadership and continuing professional development and training in Health management.
• A minimum of ten (10) years'working experience in the health sector of which FIVE (5) should be at senior management level.
• The person should be at least Deputy Chief Grade at the time of application.
• A broad knowledge base and experience of Contract Management, Procurement and Supply Chain Management, HR, Estate, Equipment and Logistics Management.
