Job Vacancy For Board Secretary At Cape Coast Teaching Hospital
The Cape Coast Teaching Hospital is an agency of the Ministry of Health responsible for tertiary health care delivery, medical education and research.
Job Purpose:
To be responsible for the smooth running of the Secretariat of Cape Coast Teaching Hospital Board and to have an oversight responsibility for the effective running of the Structures of the Board at all levels.
Functions
• Provide managerial and administrative support tu the Board,including planning and organising the activities of die Board.
• In consultation with the Board Chairman and Chic!" Executive, prepares agendas for the Board meetings.
• Maintain board of directors' orientation packaging, including providing new board members with a copy of the by-laws and all policies.
• Attend and record/transcribe all minutes of the. board meetings, including proofreading minutes and manage all logistics of board meetings as well as facilitate board communication.
• Undertake any other responsibility assigned by the CEO
Duration of Contract
All the positions are for 4 years contract period subject to renewal upon satisfactory work and conduct.

Qualification Required & Experience
The Person must be a Senior Health Personnel and have the following:
• A BSc Degree in Administration, a Master's Degree in Health Service Administration/Management or law will be an added advantage.
• Eight (8) years' working experience in the health sector.
• Evidence of leadership and continuing professional development and training in Health management.
• Experience in planning and implementation of operational and strategic action plans.
• Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
