Job Summary

•   The School is seeking to appoint a qualified and experienced Swimming pool Operative/Handy man to maintain the schools swimming pool in addition to facilities maintenance duties

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Educated to SSS level or Equivalent

Experience

•   A minimum of 2 years’ work experience as a swimming pool operative
•   Ability to diagnose faults with the functioning of a swimming pool
•   Ability to carry out minor repairs to the functioning of a swimming pool
•   Ability and willingness to lift equipment and undertake set ups
•   knowledge of the basic pool operations and methods of pool maintenance
•   Knowledge of chemicals involved in the cleaning of the pool
•   Minimum of two years’ experience cleaning and maintaining swimming pools
•   Knowledge of Proper swimming pool cleaning methods and techniques used in the cleaning of swimming pools.
•   Knowledge of basic operations ,tools and terms used in building and custodial maintenance
•   Ability to learn necessary procedures and methods used in maintaining school swimming pools
