An investment firm with more than 20 years in the Ghanaian investment sector seeks to employ highly enthusiastic, results-driven, qualified and experienced Ghanaians to drive the company in its next stage of expansion.

Key Accountabilities

•   Regularly review and update the AML and operational compliance manuals to reflect changes in operations and regulations
•   Design orientation and training programmes to inculcate a compliance culture within the group to build up an impeccable knowledge of the regulatory framework and best practices
•   Ensure that key business practices and service delivery processes are conducted in compliance with industry regulations and the groups procedures
•   Monitor and review monthly and quarterly reports that are submitted by the brokerage, and asset management subsidiaries and the accounts department to the regulators
•   Continually review and update the compliance checklist to ensure that any changes in processes and procedures are reflected
•   As the AMLRO, ensure the firms comply with AML Act and regulations as well as internal policies relating to the management of AML risk
•   Assist in business and branch development

Age: Not less than 30 years with excellent health

Qualification Required & Experience

•   A good Bachelor's degree in Accounting, i.e BSc, B.Com, etc
•   Membership, or part-qualification as a member, of ICAG or ACCA
•   Certificate in Compliance & AML
•   Completion of GSE's Ghana Securities Industry Certificate course
•   Membership, or part-qualification as a member, of CITG is an advantage

Experience

•   The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3 years working experience as compliance, Risk and AMLR Officer
