Job Summary

The Planned Parenthood Association of Ghana (PPAG), hereby invites result – oriented and committed persons to apply for the position of two (2) Finance Officers (Global Fund)  in the Association.

Purpose of the Position

To provide Accounting support to the Associations Programmes

Key Responsibilities:

•   Responsible for Global Fund projects
•   Prepares projects monthly, quarterly, half year and annual reports
•   Ensures that returns from the project sites are received and properly coded to be entered into the system
•   Prepares projects final accounts and supporting schedules for the end-of-year audits
•   Prepares monthly summaries of project expenses under appropirate account codes
•   Provide financial support to project staff
•   Ensures that funds are available for project implementation
•   Assist in the preparation of PPAG final accounts
•   Undertake monthly supervision  of the update of project fixed asset register
•   Prepares monthly Bank reconciliation statements
•   Assist in the preparation of project budget, Annual Programme budget(APB) and other financial information to Management for decision making
•   Preforms any other related duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor

The Package

•   The position is based in Accra with some level of domestic travel
•   The position comes with an attractive salary
•   S/He reports to the Financev Manager

Qualification Required & Experience

•   A first degree in Accounting, B com or its equivalent in a Professional Accounting Qualification
•   A minimum of three (3) years post qualification experience
