Role Purpose
The individual selected for this position will be required to set and maintain productivity and quality standards of the back office sales operations team by guiding, motivating and monitoring the team to high performance. (S)He will have a core purpose of:
• Continually improving the present (and future) performance of Tigo Ghana;
• Creating team spirit based on the Tigo Values;
• Stimulating innovation and consumer focus throughout operations;
• Managing Tigo’s relationship with Dealers;
• Developing distribution channels for new and existing products;
• Growing the retail universe;
• Managing stock within territory and
• Coordinating all distribution and airtime sales issues.
Key Responsibilities
Management of National distribution by:
• Creating and reviewing operational guidelines;
• Enforcing adherence to Standard Operating Procedures and
• Ensuring a timely and hassle –free ordering system.
• Serve as a key link between Sales and its internal strategic partners and deliver the sales operation service level agreement with key stakeholders;
• Manage relationship and meetings;
• Define KPIs and Targets for internal staff and external Dealer teams;
• Record, report and resolve issues/problems reported by Dealer Channel Managers;
• Ensure timely and quality reporting of sales analytics.
Qualification Required & Experience
• A Bachelor’s degree or its’ equivalent, preferably in Business Administration/Marketing;
• Minimum of two (2) years managerial experience with field and operational experience preferably in an FMCG or Telecommunication environment;
• A minimum of five (5) years managerial experience with field and operational experience for applicants without a degree;
• Must be a team player and builder with good communication skills;
• Must be a strong critical thinker, have good entrepreneurial skills and a good motivational Leader.
