GHAMSHeR, WAAF and NAP+ Ghana, registered Civil Society Organisation (CSOs) have secured funding the Global Fund through its Principal Recipient, The Ghana AIDS Commission to implement a thirty (30) month HIV Prevention Programme for key Populations countrywide with a focus on the Greater Accra, Ashanti, Western and Eastern Regions.

GHAMSHeR has offices in Accra, Takoradi and Kumasi. WAAF is located in Accra and NAP+ Ghana has offices in all the regions.

The CSOs wish to recruit suitably qualified Ghanaians who are goal-oriented and result-driven to fill the position below:- Applicants are required to indicate the preferred CSO and region of operation on the application.

Job Summary

The Finance & Administrative Manager will ensure the overall success of the organisation by effectively managing all financial and administrative tasks for the organisation.

Duties and Responsibilities

•   Prepare and maintain timely and accurate financial statements
•   Ensure compliance with internal financial and accounting policies and procedures
•   Ensure that all statutory requirements of the organisation are met including withholding payments, Income Tax, Goods and Services Tax, Various tiers of the social security payments.
•   Prepare all supporting information for the annual audit and liaise with external auditors as necessary
•   Review monthly bank reconciliation and all financial transpactions within the organisation
•   Review monthly results and implements monthly variance reporting
•   Manage the cash flow and prepare cash flow forecasts in accordance with policy
•   Oversee all payroll functions to ensure that employees are paid in a timely and accurate manner
•   Maintain financial records for projects
•   Ensure that accurate and timely financial statements are prepared in accordance with contract agreements with funders/donors
•   Monitor risk management policies and procedures to ensure that program and organisational risk are minimized
•   Oversee and supervise the administrative function of the organisation including reception, property/facility management, safety of the work environment and provision of furnishings and equipment necessary for effective operations.

Qualification Required & Experience

•   A minimum of a first degree in Business Management / Administration or
•   Part II of the professional qualification in accountancy from a recognised institution such as ACCA, ICA (Ghana), CIMA, CPA or its equivalent
•   Minimum of 2 years in a similar position
•   Must have knowledge of accounting principles
•   Proficiency in the use of computer programs for accounting software
•   Must have good knowledge of spreadsheet programs such as Excel
•   Must have knowledge of program management
•   Must have good interpersonal skills
•   Strong verbal and written communication skills
•   Applicants must have completed one year post degree National Service
