The company is inviting applications from suitably qualified persons, who are interested in the Investment Banking Industry, to apply for the following position:- Investment And Research Officer
Duties and Responsibilities
• Undertake investments in accordance with clients investment policy statements, company policies and procedures, and regulatory requirement
• Conduct due diligence on companies/industries by reading and analysis financial statements, regulatory, market and economic data
• Keep up to date with and economic developments, new investment products, and all other areas that can affect the markets
• Provide periodic research reports and making recommendations to the investment committee, clients or for general public consumption
• Assist the investment unit set-up clients and administer appropriate process to safeguard and facilitate clients investments
• Collaborate with the accounts team to ensure timely transfer of funds for investment purposes and also the payments to clients for withdrawal or redemption purposes
• Ensure frequent and regular interactions with clients and counterparties
• Assist in ensuring that all compliance regulations are met and
• Perform other related duties is required
Qualification Required & Experience
• A university degree in Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Accounting, Banking and Finance, Actuarial Science or a combination of any of the above
• Expertise in Microsoft Excel
• Effective communication, time management, and interpersonal skills
• Maintain confidentiality of information, written or spoken, with regards to clients investments and personal data
• Knowledge and experience in the investment management and advisory industry would be an added advantage
