A reputable Savings & Loans company is seeking to recruit a suitable qualified Ghanaian for the following position:- Head, Sales & Business Development

Job Brief

The job holder will lead, plan, develop and execute the current to long term market business strategies of the institution to meet and exceed customer requirements, minimise cost and risk, as well as maximise profits. This role will require you to report directly to the Managing Director.

Key Responsibilities

•   Set sales and services targets for the sales units, monitor their progress and provide feedback on any improvement required
•   Develop and implements a business plan, goals and budget for Sales functions and activities that considers the overall corporate objectives, business plan and operational priorities
•   Establishes and sets quality service Sales/Operation standards to respond to internal and external clients inquiries, requests and issues
•   Formulates strategies operations plans to achieve assigned volume and revenue targets, through expansion of the bank's deposit and saving base and lending products
•   Build and develop a high performing team through embeding performance development and coaching. Ensure that team members receive coaching and feedback in order to develop and achieve their maximum potential

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Bachelor's degree os required, Masters degree and professional qualification will be an advantage
•   5+ years professional experience with qualified experience in Banking / Financial sector at a senior level
•   Solid understanding and knowledge of the Banking industry
•   Good product development and portfolio management capabilities
•   Sales management and influencing skills
•   Must possess impeccable communication skills
•   Problem analysis, problem-solving and decision-making
