A reputable Savings & Loans company is seeking to recruit a suitable qualified Ghanaian for the following position:- Recovery Officer

Job Brief

This position would manage the workout and resolution of non-performing loans in order to preserve principal and prevent charge-offs.

Responsibilities

•   Monitoring and collection of all non-performing loans (NPL)
•   Investigates and thoroughly understands borrower problems and formulates strategies in resolving them
•   Works out and restructures non-performing loans in line with laid down prolicies and procedures
•   Actively monitors the financial performance of all loans within the officers assigned portfolio
•   Works with originating loan officer to ensure that NPL does not arise

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Bachelor degree or HND is required
•   Strong analytical and negotiation skills
•   Ability to calmly but firmly deal with customers
•   Confidence and excellence customer skills
•   Solid written and verbal communication skills
•   PC proficient, particularly MS Word and Excel
