A leading financial institution seeks to fill some vacancy and invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the following position:- Unit Head, Corporate Banking - Transport & Telecoms

Reports to Group Head, Corporate Banking

Main Responsibilities include

•   Developing, increasing sales, profitability, market share and customer satisfaction within the Transport and Telecom segments
•   Generating new revenue opportunities from existing & prospective customers
•   Managing and deepening relationships with existing and prospective customers
•   Leading team to win new accounts and resuscitate dormant relationships
•   Coordinating the activities of the team and ensuring adherence to the Transport and Telecoms segments target and drive
•   Championing the drive for deposit mobilization, LAD, FX and enhance profitability within segments
•   Ensuring effective risk asset appraisal, disbursement and monitoring within the segments
•   Reviewing key team activities and performance reports, taking appropriate actions to ensure business objectives are achieved

Qualification Required & Experience

•   First degree in any discipline. A master's degree will be an added advantage

Experience

•   Minimum of 8 years Banking experience and at least 3 years in management position with responsibility in Public either Transport or Telecoms segment & marketing, relationship management and product management
