Job Vacancy For Deputy Chief Executive Officer (Operations) At Ghana Tourism Authority
Job Summary
• Coordinates the development of project strategies, operational work plans and reports on integrated programmes
• Exercises oversight responsibility for the efficient and effective management of operational services of the Authority
• Advises on the development and implementation strategies for resource mobilisation from both private and public sectors
• Provides inputs, information and data for the formulation of policies
• Supervises the implementation of the Authority's policies, bye-laws, instruments and objectives
• Participates in all development and contract negotiations on behalf of the Authority
• Supervises the activities of the regional directors in matters relating to operational services
• Exercises oversight responsibility for the efficient and effective management of the resources (human, material and financial) in the operational services
• Coordinates the preparation and submission of the operational directorate's budgetary proposals for incorporation into the corporate annual budget
• Appraises the performance of staff of the operational Departments of the Authority
Qualification Required & Experience
• A minimum of a Master's Degree from an accredited tertiary institution in any of the following field: Tourism, Social Sciences, Business Administration and Development Planning or other related disciplines.
• A minimum of twelve (12) years of post-qualification relevant work experience, five (5) years of which must be in a Senior Management position in a reputable institution
• Pass a selection interview
